Insurance & Payment
At Timber and Iron Physical Therapy, we believe great care should be simple and transparent. Whether you’re using insurance or paying directly, we make the process easy so you can focus on feeling your best.
Insurance We Accept
We are currently in-network with First Choice Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield and are in the process of adding additional insurance panels based on patient needs.
We also accept:
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims
Out-of-network insurance plans (with a superbill for reimbursement)
If we’re not yet in-network with your plan, many patients choose to submit a reimbursement claim directly to their insurance using the receipts we provide. Most PPO and POS plans will reimburse a portion of the cost for out-of-network physical therapy.
Direct Access — No Referral Needed
In Oregon, you can see a physical therapist directly without a physician referral.
If your insurance requires one for reimbursement, we’ll help coordinate that with your primary care provider or specialist.
Self-Pay & Cash-Based Options
Many of our patients choose to pay directly for care to avoid the limits and restrictions that come with insurance-based models. Direct-pay services allow for:
Longer one-on-one sessions (60 minutes)
Flexible treatment options tailored to your needs
No surprise billing or waiting for approvals
Current rates:
Initial Evaluation: $200
Follow-Up Session: $200
Payment methods accepted: credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and contactless payment options.
Out-of-Network Billing Support
If we’re not in-network with your insurance, we’ll provide a detailed superbill with all the necessary information (treatment codes, provider details, and tax ID) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
We’re happy to walk you through the process to make it as seamless as possible.
